Casa Testinha
Founded in 1937, with the aim of selling wine and sandwiches to the people of Arouca and travelers who went to work in the tungsten mines during World War II, Casa Testinha’s main dish is fried chicken, as well as virgins and the mug of wine better known as meia paiveira. It is currently in the 4th generation of the family and has always been in the same place.

Padaria da Vila
Serving Arouca since May 1, 1965, Padaria da Vila is present throughout the municipality, supplying restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, and grocery stores. It combines tradition and innovation, offering a wide and varied range of products, including our traditional cornbread and a variety of French pastries. The pride of this establishment’s approximately 30 employees is evident in the quality it offers, backed by 60 years of experience. The history of Padaria da Vila is essentially the story of the last 60 years of Araraquara. During this time, every day, morning, lunch, snack, or dinner, very few Arouca restaurants have not had one of our products on their tables. For this very reason, we continue our work of excellence, combining knowledge and flavor, innovating based on tradition, and serving Arouca every day.
