Vítor and Cláudia cultivate their own fields from which they harvest the fresh and essential ingredients for their famous pumpkin, chestnut and carrot broas. It is this direct link to the source that guarantees freshness and authentic flavour, transporting those who taste them to the heart of the Serra da Freita. But Vítor’s passion extends beyond farming and baking. He also spends part of his free time creating small wooden utensils and toys, pieces that were once used by the region’s children. This manual art adds a layer of nostalgia and authenticity to the project, connecting visitors not only with the flavours, but also with the village’s cultural heritage. By appointment, visitors have the unique opportunity to participate in some of the agricultural tasks. This interaction is an exceptional way to connect with the land, learn about the production cycles and understand the passion and hard work that Vítor and Cláudia put into each broa.
